Melt the margarine in a large skillet on low to medium heat. Add the flour and stir until it is completely coated by the margarine. Add 1/2 cup of water and stir until the water is almost absorbed. Continue to add water 1/4 cup at a time until the mixture acquires the consistency of a cream based soup. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes. Serves 4.
The soup base in this recipe can also be used to make Dream of Potato, Dream of Celery, Dream of Tomato, Dream of Onion,....... Anything you Dream up!
