Oriental Greens Salad
 

INGREDIENTS

 
1/2 head of romaine lettuce
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/2 cup water chestnuts
1/2 cup shitake mushrooms
1/2 cup Mandarin oranges
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
 

DIRECTIONS

 
Wash the lettuce leaves and dry with paper towels. Cut the lettuce leaves into salad sized pieces.  In a large bowl, combine the lettuce leaves, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, Mandarin oranges, and mushrooms.  In a separate bowl, mix the vinegar, olive oil, sesame oil, and teriyaki sauce to make the salad dressing.  Pour the dressing over the salad and toss. Serves 4 to 6.
