High Falutin' Salad

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces mescaline lettuce
8 ounces green leaf lettuce
3/4 cup walnuts
12 cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup diced green onion
1/2 cup of raspberries
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
 

DIRECTIONS

Cut or tear the lettuce into bite size pieces and place in a large bowl. Add the green onions, raspberries and walnuts to the lettuce and toss.  In a separate bowl, mix the oil, vinegar, basil, and salt. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss. Use the cherry tomatoes as a garnish on the plates. Serves 4-6.
