On A Steak Out
 

INGREDIENTS

 
Per Person
 
2 slices of rye bread
4 slices of extra firm tofu
1/4 cup sauteed mushrooms and onions
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
 

DIRECTIONS

 
Marinate the tofu in the steak sauce overnight. Melt the margarine in a skillet on medium heat. Add the tofu and cook each side for 5 to 10 minutes. Toast the bread and build a sandwich with the tofu, mushrooms and onions. Tomato, lettuce and vegan mayonnaise can also be added.
